Bad Kleinkirchheim
Bad Kleinkirchheim is at an average height of 1,087 metres above sea level and covers 74.01 square kilometers. It lies between the Millstätter See and the Gurk valley. This world famous ski resort offers 103 kmof pistes plus 16 km for ski touring. The Alpine Skiing World Cup is often held here. Its own ski club, the Ski Club Kleinkirchheim, was established in 1947 and has about 2,000 members, a population larger than the town itself.

Millstatt
The Austrian market town of Millstatt is situated at 611 metres above sea level in the province of Carinthia on the shore of Lake Millstatt, in the Spittal an der Drau district. Millstatt is a traditional health resort and spa centre, popular for its Benedictine abbey founded around 1070. The extensive buildings of the Benedictine monastery are found beneath the marketplace.
