                 Nassfeld                 
Nassfeld ski arena is the ski-resort in the district of Hermagor. It is located at the Nassfeld Pass and offers 110 km of pistes and 30 ski lifts. The Millenium-Express cable car lift takes you up to the top (1.919 metres) in less than 15 minutes. The ski resort ranges in elevation from 1300 metres to 2000 metres above sea level. There is also a fantastic ‘Snowboard Park’ with the ultimate half pipe. The Nassfeld has over 220 snow machines for creating artificial snow and ensuring good skiing conditions. In Summer it is a good destination for mountain hiking and offers more than 1000 km of hiking ways.

                 Presseggersee                 
The Pressegger lake has the warmest water of the Carinthian lakes. By early summer the temperature is 22 to 24 degrees C. It is then one of the first lakes to freeze in the winter and is renowned for ice skating.
